 Paula Neff is a passionate, dynamic, and highly skilled functional movement specialist who brings a world of insight and over 20 years of rehabilitation experience to her teaching. She began her Pilates journey in 2001 while working as a PT Aide at a local sports medicine clinic, and then moved to London to study at Pilates International. After opening her own studio in Galveston, she quickly gained attention and recognition from numerous University of Texas MedicalBranch’s physicians, surgeons, and their Alternative Medicine Program.
Paula is the only Pilates teacher in the Houston area who is a graduate of the Master’s Program at the world- renowned The Pilates Center of Boulder (TPC), and also their 950 hour Advanced Teacher Training Program. Over the span of her career, Paula has specialized in working with traumatic brain injured, pre and post-operational, pre and post-natal, professional athletes, golfers and every ‘body’ in between. She has been the Lead Pilates Teacher for the Houston Ballet dancers since 2015 and collaborates directly with their onsite Methodist Hospital Athletic Trainers, in addition to other Chiropractors and massage therapists in the Houston area. Paula is a teacher trainer, mentor, and all around gifted teacher who has a unique ability to see ‘through the body’ in movement and pinpoint muscular imbalances, chronic injuries and tightnesses. Her session are challenging, but highly effective, and most clients leave their sessions feeling stronger, empowered, and invigorated.
